Hello all!
Fall gave way to early winter and early winter rolled right into endless winter. Haha.
We just had 18 inches of snow out in my area on Long Island and while everyone else shovels madly and salts everything they can… I am sitting in front of my wood burning stove uploading new games to the site! I mean… fortunately, I don’t need to drive anywhere to “work.” Mind you, I don’t think of this as work.. but that’s a whole different storyline… 😉
Wood burning stove time continues, and as always, brings great peace and relaxation…. something about a roaring fire. Ahhhhhh… nice.
I’d like to draw your attention to a quote from my last game upload session –> “I want the snow filled streets of my childhood, people!! I am retired and don’t have to shovel.. soooo… yes, bring it on! Please don’t share this with any of my neighbors as they will likely form a torch-carrying mob vis-a-vis those who marched on Frankenstein’s monster and accuse me of causing a bad winter. Haha. But really… let’s keep this between us…”
Looks like I am getting my wish this winter! Ha! I kinda’ forgot I had even said anything at all.. Oi! Aging is happening folks.. wahhhhh… OK.. enough blathering…

I mean, I don’t carry retail versions of much… haha… but just in case you’re new to the Upstart life… I wanted to make that distinction.
Ever wondered what the dragons of Flamecraft do on their lunch break? Play Flamecraft Duals, of course! Set in the world of Flamecraft, Duals is a two-player travel-friendly game of pattern-making and quick, puzzly fun! You will meet the artisan dragons again with new powers, and this time the challenge is to get your dragons in a row. As you draw dragons, you might get lucky and come across a rare dual-colored Hydragon, with double the artisanal skills! As you play, the board will fill up with adorable dragons, stacking and soaring across the table, and you will work to fire-up their abilities, make matches, and complete shop cards.
Flamecraft Duals is a two-player abstract pattern-building game that takes about 30 minutes to play. Each round, a player draws a dragon from the bag and places it on the shared central board. Every dragon type has a special ability that can be fired up to draw more dragons or rearrange those already on the board. You want to match three dragons on the board to the pattern on the shop cards in your hand to score them. Once all the dragons are drawn from the bag, the game ends and the player with the highest score wins.
