Lazy duplicate write-ups continue…  Moving to a new home, travel, planting a garden, and getting settled have taken my time!  Argh!! 🏡🔧🪴✅🙄

Hello all!  OK… let’s see.  First, let me admit that nothing has TAKEN my time… hehe.  I have chosen to apply my time to those things.. and well, I wanted to at least be honest about that. 😉 I am the pilot of my spaceship… or at least the co-pilot… haha. 🚀👽 Although, that admission complete, I will also admit that it is very difficult to sit inside and write game write ups when the weather is gorgeous and I want to be outside.

Sooooo… I guess I have chosen to make less time for write ups… which is painful to admit to myself… but I promise that eventually, I will get back to my side-splitting commentary and banter.  HONEST! Until then, if you’re missing my poetic yarns… shoot me a text and we can chat directly for a minute.  I’m always happy to hear from a fellow Upstart! ☺️❤️

Also, I should note that planting a garden is insanely fun!  Sure, it was also a lot of work and sweat… and bug bites… haha.  But it was SO worth it!  Everything is starting to grow… and I am especially excited to see that the corn and sunflower seeds given to me by one of my favorite LITRPG authors, Terry W. Ervin II, have started to grow!

Random side note… I am a HUGE fan of LITRPG and I am always on the hunt for the latest and greatest in that genre. I played D&D as a teenager and well.. that adventurer storyline still appeals to me a great deal.

Anyhoo… I stumbled across Terry’s “Monsters, Maces and Magic” series a year or two ago and I read every book in the series! SO GOOD!!!

He mentioned something about planting corn in his newsletter and I wrote back and the next thing you know he was sending me some seed samples. The first batch got lost on their way through the mail… so he sent a second batch… all at his cost! He is a wonderful human and I sincerely appreciated that he pressed on with a second batch to try and get them through!!

So for me, seeing those seeds bloom is especially gratifying! 🌱😃

Bundle details?

This Upstart offering has three Kingdom Rush: Rift in Time options!!

The first bundle is essentially the recent campaign’s Emperor Collection Pledge with the plus ups from the Deluxe Upgrades King box and the 3D towers tossed in.

I basically tried to get all the goodies for Kingdom Rush: Rift in Time into one place – which isn’t exactly easy to do what with the different campaigns and different pledge names and overlap. 😬😂 But, I did my best. And I hope my best was good enough! 😉

Specifically, this bundle includes the following:

• Kingdom Rush: Rift in Time – Base Game
• Sir Gerald Lightseeker vs. J.T. Expansion
• Vez’nan vs. Moloch Expansion
• Spider Goddess Expansion
• Emperor Chest (Rift in Time Storage Solution)
• Reprinted cards

Also included are the following add ons (to get that Upstart Boardgamer vibe going):

• Pack of solider miniatures
• Pack of Wooden Red Hearts (3D token upgrades)
• Pack of Blue Plastic Crystals (3D token upgrades)
• The 3D tower expansion – N.B. As the 3D Towers are usable in both Rift in Time and Elemental Uprising these will be stored in their own box instead of in a storage solution. Which is a fancy way of saying they do not fit in the Emperor Chest storage solution that is included in this bundle! Sorry folks… I don’t design the games and their storage solutions… I just help you snag them. 🙏

The second “bundle” is actually not a bundle (a recurring them lately… haha). The second option is simply one copy of the Emperor Chest storage solution.

Please note that the emperor chest doesn’t come with the deluxe upgrade bits from the King’s Pledge upgrade, although it does incorporate all the storage trays from that release. Confused? Yeah.. me too.  Any questions, please reach out!

To help with a smidge of clarity, here is the list of everything included in the Emperor Chest Storage Solution:

• 1x Sturdy Large Box with a Bottom Game Trayz insert
• 1x Game Trayz Tower Tray with snap close lid
• 1x Game Trayz Token Tray with snap close lid
• 9x Game Trayz Hero Tray with snap close lids
• 9x Hero Reference Cards

This chest provides storage for the base game, Sir Gerald, Vez’nan, and Spider Goddess content… but does not have storage space for the 3D Tower Expansion. Also, it does not include the plastic soldier minis, the red wooden hearts, the blue plastic crystals, or the reprinted cards. Whew. I need a coffee! ☕️🙏

The third bundle is also not really a bundle… hehe… see what I mean about the wanton use of the word “bundle” in these write ups?? Oi! Anyway, the third option is simply the Recrafted Deluxe Upgrade Box that was released with the Elemental Uprising/Rift in Time re-release campaign stuff. This box is not the same as the deluxe upgrade box that came out back in the original Rift in Time campaign. This Recrafted Deluxe Upgrade box includes the following items:

• 1x Game Trayz Tower Tray with snap close lid
• 1x Game Trayz Token Tray with snap close lid
• 5x Game Trayz Hero Tray with snap close lids
• 5x Character Reference Cards
